For Aircraft Paint Stripping
The Electronics Inc. “AA” aluminum strips are used in aircraft paint stripping facilities. The “AA” aluminum strip, made from material common to most aircraft structures, is blasted with the same technique used to strip the paint. If the strip shows significant curvature (arc height), it is likely that the skin is being damaged and the process must be altered. The Aero-Almen gage is used to measure the curvature of the thin aluminum test strip.

For Shot Peening
Our W, X Y and Z Aluminum Strips are ideal for facilities that shot peen aluminum components, such as propeller blades. The aluminum strip, when used with the Electronics Inc. Aero-Almen gage, will denote the curvature (arc height) of the strip.
